Atlas of the cracow fortress: some problems concerning adaptation of the cracow fortress forts

Preserving the fortified heritage of a town requires finding a new use for the monuments. The re-use of these demilitarized fortresses sometimes poses problems and it is important to choose the right project, which respects the existing buildings, while adapting to the 20th century. The author recounts the experience ofCracowfortresses, built in the middle of the 19th century.
