The Nahman Sanseong Studies series n°5

The natural stronghold Namhansanseong isKorea’s historic heritage which is meaningful both military and religiously because during the Joseon Dynasty, the fortress defended the Kingdom with the Buddhist Spirit of patriotism. The fifth volume of the Namhansanseong Studies Series reflects how such efforts have been made to inscribe Namhansanseong on the World Heritage List. It includes the precious results of the Namhansanseong International Symposium that was held in 2013 under the theme of “Comparative Studies on Unique Military Structure of different Countries and Defining Terminology or Namhansanseong”.
