This interactive DVD presents the maps and drawings of fortified sites of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, preserved at the local archives of the Nord department. 223 documents are presented and commented on via three themes: the defence of the towns, the life of the engineers and the fortified towns. The DVD is accompanied by a glossary, drawings and animated maps.
