Besançon à l'époque de Louis XIV : l'empreinte de Vauban

Following the conquest of the Franche-Comté region by Louis XIV in 1674, the town ofBesançon, henceforth capital of the province, was the focus of political, judicial and religious power. The military works of Vauban and urban developments radically transformed the physiognomy of the town. On the occasion of the tercentenary of the death of Vauban (1633-1707), this reconstitution via syncopated images brings us on a journey through time to the discovery of Besançon at the end of the reign of Louis XIV.
