Created ex nihilo by Vauban in 1692, Mont-Dauphin is one of the emblematic sites of bastioned fortification inFrance. The work offers an insight into the establishment and penetration of the normative thinking of Vauban via the evolution of the stronghold, which constituted the apotheosis of his work and his heritage. The work is accompanied by a DVD comprising five films, allowing you to visit the stronghold and get a better idea of its function.
